Design Research Process

I had the opportunity to practice asking non-leading questions and reduce my contribution to bias while moderating tests.

We recorded our tests and kept them on file for several months following each study. Sometimes we would revisit recordings to inform design decisions, especially in ongoing projects that spanned several quarters.

To stay organized, we took notes on a dry erase board and post-it notes throughout the sessions. At the close of each Garage Band Test, the Moderator was responsible for putting together a sharable read-out document and hosting a meeting to inform stakeholders of key findings.
